About Prof. Doan

Professor Doan received her B.A. from Carleton College and her Ph.D. from Cornell University. Her research focuses on maternal and child health, resilience and adjustment, and relations between stress, emotions, mind and body. She is particularly interested in the role of the social environment and its effects on physical health and psychological well- being.

Anna Beth is a student at Claremont McKenna College majoring in psychology. She is also the COO and Co-CMO for Claremont Apparel, a non-profit clothing startup she created with Claremont Women in Business Innovations Team.
